Restoration bricklayer wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Washington County, Alabama. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Full-time with occasional weekends.
