Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Steele County, Minnesota. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
