Formwork carpenter • Grant County, Arkansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Grant County, Arkansas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 3+ years on the tools preferred.
