Overlocker operator • Tafa, Niger State

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Tafa, Niger State. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Full-time, day shift.
