Immediate opening: plastering hand (Connecticut)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The role involves: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
