Tig welder — Hot Spring County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Performance bonus on top of base pay.
