Argon welding operator — San Augustine County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in San Augustine County, Texas. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
