Cnc setter-operator • White County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in White County, Illinois. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
