Great opportunity: EHS coordinator (Mississippi)

Join our team: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Jones County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
