The role involves set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs. You should have: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
