Rigging foreman — Hancock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Hancock County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
