Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Holmes County, Mississippi. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Rotating shifts.
