Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Franklin County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
