Garment presser — Buffalo County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
