Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Njaba, Imo State. The job is on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. ₦120,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
