Cake decorator — Montcalm County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
