Safety officer wanted in Cedar County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work at an oil and gas facility. You will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
