Dry lining plasterer — Rockcastle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Rotating shifts.
