Press machine operator wanted in Gilmer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Gilmer County, West Virginia. You will be based at an auto components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift.
