Vacancy available: plant operator (Edo)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Ovia North-East, Edo. You will be based in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
