Argon welding operator wanted in Nash County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Nash County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
