Sewing machine operator wanted in Oakland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Oakland County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
