Presser — St. Clair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in St. Clair County, Alabama. The job is at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
