Vertical milling machine operator — Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Carroll County, Arkansas. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Overtime paid at a premium rate.
