Restoration bricklayer — Henderson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Henderson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
