Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Pope County, Illinois. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
