Counter butcher — Morgan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Morgan County, Utah. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day-to-day duties: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
