Press shop operator — Putnam County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Putnam County, New York. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
