Formwork carpenter — Degema

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Degema, Rivers State. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Part-time with flexible hours. ₦1,600 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
