We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Covington County, Mississippi. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
