Power float operator • Gummi, Zamfara State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Gummi, Zamfara State. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Part-time with flexible hours. ₦1,350 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
