Finish carpenter — Barbour County

Join our team: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Barbour County, Alabama. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Day to day you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
