Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Marshall County, Kentucky. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
