Brickwork mason — Dorset

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Dorset, England. The job is at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
