Immediate opening: we are hiring a solid plasterer in St. Lawrence County, New York. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Day-to-day duties: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Full-time with occasional weekends.
