Lathe operator • Lee County, South Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Lee County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
