Formwork carpenter — Lipscomb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Lipscomb County, Texas. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
