CNC mill setter-operator — Arenac County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Arenac County, Michigan. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Rotating shifts.
