Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Montrose County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
