Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams 5+ years on the tools preferred.
