Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up.
