Split AC fitter — Floyd County

Join our team: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Floyd County, Kentucky. You will be based on new-build apartment projects. The role involves: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Requirements: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
