Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Conecuh County, Alabama. Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Rotating shifts.
