Kitchen porter — Albany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Albany County, New York. Your main tasks: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift Requirements: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
