We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Daggett County, Utah. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Rotating shifts.
