Quality control inspector • DeKalb County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in DeKalb County, Alabama. On the job you will handle: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
