On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists.
