Precision welder — Republic County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Republic County, Kansas. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
