Heavy equipment operator — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lyon County, Kentucky. You will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Overtime paid at a premium rate.
