Plant operator — Dodge County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Dodge County, Wisconsin. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
